Located in the heart of Sapporo City, JR Sapporo Station is a major transport hub in Hokkaido and has become a major shopping zone with the opening of the JR Tower station building in 2003. Enjoy shopping and dining to the fullest in the Sapporo Station area.

Otaru has developed since the Meiji era as the northern commercial capital, and many historical buildings still exist in this city. Especially recommended is the Otaru Canal, which is illuminated at dusk to create a romantic atmosphere that differs from that of daytime.

Furano City is famous for its lavender fields overlooking Mt. Tokachi, and from late June to early August, the entire area is dyed purple, creating a fantastic sight. In winter, Furano Ski Resort is popular, and easily accessible by bus from Furano Station.

The Niseko area is famous as one of the best winter resorts in Japan. Just a two-hour drive from Sapporo, visitors can enjoy the great outdoors surrounded by the peaks of Mt.Yotei. In summer, mountain climbing, canoeing, and fishing, and in winter, fine powder snow can be enjoyed at four ski resorts.

Asahikawa is located almost in the center of Hokkaido. In recent years, Asahiyama Zoo, where polar bears and marching penguins can be seen, has become very popular. Asahikawa is also known as a ramen town, and the Asahikawa Ramen Village, a food theme park specializing in ramen, is a must for ramen lovers.

Abashiri and Kitami are cities located on the northeast coast of Hokkaido. The cities are a base for sightseeing in Hokkaido's natural wonders, such as the drift ice in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Daisetsuzan National Park. The area is also a gourmet lover's paradise for delicious Okhotsk food.

Located in eastern Hokkaido on the Pacific Ocean side, Tokachi is the largest region in Hokkaido, and Obihiro is the central city of the Tokachi area. With its vast and fertile land, Tokachi is home to large-scale dairy farming and field cultivation, and visitors can enjoy the local delicacies of the region.

Jozankei Onsen is located less than an hour drive from downtown Sapporo and also in the Shikotsu-Toya National Park. It attracts many tourists every year as a hot spring resort in a lush green valley. The spring is a clear, colorless sodium chloride spring that warms the inside of the body.
