      Furano City is famous for its lavender fields overlooking Mt. Tokachi, and from late June to early August, the entire area is dyed purple, creating a fantastic sight. In winter, Furano Ski Resort is popular, and easily accessible by bus from Furano Station.

      2 hours from New Chitose Airport by car on the expressway. From Sapporo, take the Furano highway bus for about 3 hours and 30 minutes.

      The Niseko area is famous as one of the best winter resorts in Japan. Just a two-hour drive from Sapporo, visitors can enjoy the great outdoors surrounded by the peaks of Mt.Yotei. In summer, mountain climbing, canoeing, and fishing, and in winter, fine powder snow can be enjoyed at four ski resorts.

      2 hours from New Chitose Airport to Niseko Town by car. Approximately 3 hours by highway bus (note that many buses are limited in winter.)

      It takes about 2 hours and 10 minutes from New Chitose Airport to Asahikawa by expressway, or you can take the JR train to Asahikawa via Sapporo.

      It takes about 5 hours and 30 minutes from New Chitose Airport to Abashiri by expressway. From Memanbetsu Airport to Abashiri City takes about 30 minutes by bus.
